I’m giving this new theme a test run. Yes, it’s kind of trendy. As someone mentioned to me earlier this morning, “That’s too trendy; it’s not really you.” Well this blog is growing up. It’s time to get serious, and I’m taking it to the next level. If you really don’t like it send me an e-mail. I’ll check into some others in the mean time.
Today is Loafers’ first birthday. It’s difficult for me to believe that it’s been a year since I was sitting in my bedroom listening to Huey Lewis in the News thinking to myself, “I’ve got to share this awesomeness with the world.”
Not much has changed over the last 365 days, except for viewership. Because of people like Peter M., who initially shared Loafersansocks with the great Northeast, this website has seen an exponential rise in those who view it.
I can’t make any promises as to the direction of the site over the next year. Hopefully I’ll keep everything between the lines and continue to disseminate magical ballerness. If law school gets to be too tough maybe I’ll hire an intern to do all the work for me and still take the credit.
As a matter of fact, that’s not such a bad idea. ACCEPTING. RESUMES. NOW.
Also, I’m going to be changing the theme today. I apologize in advance if you see 10 different themes today. I’ll be rotating a few to see which one I really like.
Thanks again for checking in over the last year. Stay tuned.
Orebro, Sweden — Police in central Sweden are on the hunt for a gang of tattooed women who sexually molested a 50-year-old man as he was riding by on his bicycle. The incident took place around 9pm on July 8th as the man was cycling down Vintergatan in central Örebro, the Aftonbladet newspaper reports. Suddenly, someone grabbed hold of the rack on the back of the man’s bike, causing him to fall to the ground. “The girls ran up to him and pulled the bicycle down so he fell,” Örebro police spokesperson Annika Haaster told the newspaper. As the man was lying defenceless on the ground, the women proceeded to pull off his trousers and underwear and molest him sexually before fleeing the scene. According to police, the 50-year-old was not otherwise beaten or physically assaulted by the gang of five girls. The victim told police that the girl who actually pulled down the bicycle was about 175 centimetres (5 feet, 7 inches) tall and had tattoos on her forearms. Authorities are hoping that tips from the public can help them apprehend the suspects responsible for the bizarre attack.
