As I mentioned last week, I received an e-mail from a reader asking me to list out my five favorite bands (in order). This was a daunting, scary task. I spent some time over the weekend fleshing out the list. I’d imagine you are going to be shocked by some on the list. However, this list adequately shows the wide range of tunes that I listen to.

Q. Nation’s best barbecue – Kansas City or North Carolina?
I think Kansas City has more variety, but if I had only one last barbecue meal to eat, it would be in North Carolina, whole hog. It’s pristine, you don’t have the sticky sauce and it’s probably the original barbecue, or close to it.

Recently, I got an e-mail asking me to do a top 5 list one week with my favorite bands (I’m assuming of all time). I’ve got to be honest, this is a frightening thought.
